Back To Our Roots
We are a young family owned business with over 13 years experience in the farming / ranching and equipment industry. I (Tyler Zielke) fresh off the farm and having graduated high school then attended business college. There I acquired business development skills as well as accounting and several other assets to help me on my life path.
Like many others our family farm was small and not large enough to support myself full time after getting home from secondary schooling so with my excitement for equipment from a young age, i went straight to work for a large local equipment dealer. There, I spent over 8 years learning every aspect of the equipment business and starting/ building and culminating relationships with the local economy.
After 8+ years my passion for getting back to my farming roots got the best of me, I had a chance to purchase our childhood family farm with some land and without hesitation and alot of help from the bank, I did so!.
How We Grew
Once the land was purchased, I committed myself 100% to getting our farm off the ground and running doing whatever we could to survive and all in the meantime fortunate enough to marry my bestfriend/ wife and have my 4 children along side us.
During my start in operating our own farm we faced many of the same challenges as any other farm, crazy land prices/ low commodity prices and constantly rising equipment costs. Every year seems to be a different struggle and in todays market it seems to be a “grow or die” scenario, so with somewhat calculated risk and ALOT of input and sleepless nights we grew.
